Hi, hello, welcome Mamas 💛 I am so pleased to welcome you to Birth and Bump! I’m Queenie, a fully qualified Registered Nurse transiting into a Midwife.
I cannot wait to share this journey with you full of connection, love and growth.
This page is dedicated to those planning/trying to conceive, pregnant or with your beautiful bubba already earthside. I am here to empower, support and offer education on all things midwifery based. I can’t wait to help support you and your family on this incredible journey.
To share a little about myself, I fell in love with midwifery travelling overseas many years ago where I found myself volunteering at a medical centre. On this adventure I was privileged enough to assist in a birth, although I had no idea what I was doing, it was like something I had never experienced before. The strength, love, determination and drive this woman had was absolutely amazing. I saw the raw emotion, connection and perseverance and instantly I knew I had to become a part of this.
Fast forward to university, I have worked as an Assistant in Nursing, Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse, and I am now completing my degree as a Registered Midwife while working as an Assistant in Midwifery in Newcastle, NSW. I can’t wait to share my knowledge and grow alongside you,
