I am a midwife currently living in Melbourne with my partner and our young son, but I was born and raised in rural Victoria.
While I love working as a midwife, after having my son I wanted to create something that I could work on from home.
I used an Elle TENS machine during my labour and I couldn’t have done it without one, it gave me the ability to labour at home and made the eventual car ride to the hospital more manageable (if that’s even possible). I also am extremely passionate about Australian made products (especially given the current climate) from there my idea grew into Hatchling.
My aim is to create an online store where women can hire a TENS machine and choose quality products to be used throughout pregnancy, labour/birth and the postnatal period. I am definitely not the first to do it, but my focus on Australian made, natural and organic products combined with the ability to hire or buy an Elle TENS machine all in one place will hopefully make the overwhelming task of preparing for birth and motherhood a little easier.
Hatchling is a one stop shop for all the mamas and mamas to be out there! Organic/natural Australian made products for women.
